SEPTEMBER 2006 REGISTRATION

    Welcome to the Chief Dan George Cross Country Team!

    Practices are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:45 until 3:30. All team members will do their best to attend all practices, and will tell Mr. Richards, Mrs. Bunbury, or Mr. McTaggart if they cannot attend a practice. Members will need to wear shorts and runners to all practices and meets, and should bring a water bottle. Practices will take place either on the school grounds or across the street on the oval track. Occasionally we may go to the stadium or Clearbrook Park for a practice.

    All team members will attend all 4 of the Grand Prix meets at Clearbrook Park. If members do not attend the meets, our team may be disqualified. The Grand Prix meets are on the last 2 Wednesdays of September and the first 2 Wednesdays of October. The dates are September 20th, 27th, October 4th, and 11th. Team members can either meet us at Clearbrook Park at 3:45, or can walk over to the park from CDG at 3:30 with the rest of the team. We are usually back at CDG by 5:00, and team members are welcome to leave their homework, etc., at CDG until then for pickup.

    The registration fee for the team is $20. This covers your entry fee for all 4 races, and your dri-fit team race jersey - which is yours to keep.
