The CDGMS Origami Club meets every Wednesday and Friday at lunch in the Home Ec Lab. The ten members in the club were chosen by the teachers at CDGMS. Next semester, some of these disciples of Sakai Sensei will, in turn, teach other students interested in the art of origami. At the end of the year, the origami students will put together a large project that will be presented to the school.
What is Origami?
Origami is a Japanese art form. The word Origami comes from the words Oru, which means to fold, and Kami, which means paper.
